Past Student Projects:
Constructing Italy: Some Villains on the Villa
Winter 2005

The following essays, written by some of the students in Professor Merla Wolk's Constructing Italy course, Winter term, 2005, have given such pleasure to the students in the class and to their teacher, that we wanted to spread that pleasure around. This collection doesn't represent all the fine work produced by this class, but only those essays that pertain to our shared experience. Whether or not they were chosen for their wit or wisdom, their cynicism or sincerity, their shadiness or sketchiness (two terms I'm told you understand, in ways I don't), their ability to make fun of the Villa and of themselves, is for you to decide.
